I've never uploaded multiple files at one time, but I have uploaded files one at a time. Whatever route you take, I would recommend having the filenames numbered before hand in a way that keeps the chronological order consistent. If not, you will have to delete and start over. I like to number my files as such:

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
b10
b11
(continue on this is manner)

Notice I add the b. This keeps the 10 from bouncing up before 2. I do this for all my files past 10 just to be safe and keep this progressing correctly.

Also, I use Mp3tag. It's a free tag program that works well with IA.

I hope this helps.

Better yet, number your items with leading 0, as in
01
02
03
...
09
10
11

This preserves proper number order.
